A People's History
from the reading, i concluded that there are many various mixed views on the state and value of the Constitution. and to me, each side has some valid points to make. and i thought it was ironic that the founding fathers who included in the Constitution that all men are created equal...birth rights, own slaves, servants and gave no right to woman.
1. Why did few founding fatherrefuse to ratify the Constitution if it was made to protect the wealthy?
2. Was there any sense of selfish benefits or intentions in the work of Founding Fathers in the creation of the Constituition?

Interview
I interviewed my friend. he believes that the constitution should be able to be altered or improved to the ever-chaing values of society. he believes that the government is made my people for their benefits but usually end up being harmful. and he told me that u.s's government system is not so great as the world thins, because of the efficiency and productivity. and he said majority of the citizens in the U.S does not even fully understand the constitution but they use it selfishly to gain their own will. For example, a foolish teenager would post something offensive on the blog and he would defend it by saying it is a freedom of speech.
he answered that immigrant issue is a huge problem in U.S, and many people dont realize it. he explained that the more illegal immigrant comes in, the more legal citizens are going to suffer. and his top political issues currently are unemployment rate, debt and foreign policies. he agreed with me that he does not support gay marriage, and in the amendment it quotes Marriage in the United States shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman. Neither this Constitution, nor the Constitution of any State, nor State or Federal law, shall be construed to require that marital status or the legal incidents thereof be conferred upon unmarried couples or groups.. .
This interview was a great opportunity for me to see views of other people on politics and government.

Political Issues
As the country comes near the period of debates and presidential elections, I like to discuss about issues that needs to be dealt with and come to a solution by our newest candidates.
Political issues I am most concerned with are unemployment, creating jobs, tax cuts, and gay rights.
I am concerned in the issue of unemployment in U.S mostly because a close relative of mine just havebeen unemployed recently. The company that she worked for has been closed down because of the company's financial setbacks. This issue is a common and relative problem to many of the citizens in the country. this issue leads to creating jobs. I believe if the big corps and companies are closing down like in the case of my relative, the government should be an aid. Save companies that would increase unemployment rates if it closes down.
Also i believe that lots of citizens taxes are being wasted. Large amount of taxes are spent in welfare, and some to illegal immigrants. Additionally, as Warren Buffet stated, the tax cut percentage should be according to the income of an individual. This world, the way i see it, is still rich-get-richer-and-poor-get-poorer. United States holds one of the highest difference in income between the rich and the poor. Finally, I do not support gay rights, I support banning marriage of homosexuals. This is just my opinion, i think homosexuality is unethical, unmoral and does give good examples to the society.
I hope that these issues will be disscussed and debated in the candidate speeches and debates. Americans are sick and tired of false promises made my presidents, we need results now.
